General

When is the event?

The National Officiating Summit 2024 will be held Friday 22 November – Sunday 24 November.

Where will the event be held?

The National Officiating Summit will be held on Level 1, at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, South Wharf, Melbourne Australia.

Who should attend the National Officiating Summit?
The Summit will share and promote information, resources and connections to national, state and local officiating.

How can I take part in NOS?

NOS 2024 will be an in-person experience and we invite you to join us as either:

Will the speakers be in person or via video?

The three-day live conference features an unrivalled line-up of local, regional and international industry experts live on stage, combined with global names via video link. While the majority of speakers will be in attendance, the conference will feature both in person and video link presenters, delivering an international Summit based in Melbourne, Australia.

Will there be an attendee/delegate list available?

Unfortunately, we are unable to publish a delegate list due to restrictions of the privacy act. You will be able to network with fellow delegates through the event app by sending them a request to connect, or during the in-person networking opportunities.

Will there be food and drink available/can I bring my own?

Yes. The MCEC has a range of onsite food and drink providers within the centre. Also, the adjacent hotels and DFO shopping mall provides a range of options, as well as the bustling South Wharf precinct along the Yarra River.

What brands will be at the event?

We’ll have a range of brands at the show across many categories of apparel, equipment, nutrition, technology and more. We’ll be releasing our exhibitor directory in the coming months, be sure to follow us on social media and sign up to our email newsletter to be notified when this is released.

Can I purchase items at the event?

Yes, an event merchandise stand will be at the Summit, and various event exhibitors will also be selling products and services.

Is there an ATM available at the event?

Yes, however sometimes you need to join a long queue, so we recommend getting cash out before you arrive at the Summit.

Will there be WiFi at the Event?

Yes, a dedicated WiFi facility will be available for event attendees. Free WiFi is also available throughout the venue using the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre free WiFi.

Who is the organiser of the Summit?

The National Officiating Summit is produced by The Officiating Group Pty Ltd, an organisation established to deliver the event with its own Directors, Advisory Committee and Executive. Its founding team has over 60 years of experience in the industry, and will be working with specialist event delivery providers to meet the event's unique requirements for partners, exhibitors and visitors.

Ticketing

Do I have to pay to attend the event?

Tickets are required and can be purchased online here.

Do I need a ticket if I belong to a state or national body?

Everyone needs a ticket to enter the event. You can pre-purchase tickets online here.

Can I register on the day?

There is currently no plans for purchasing tickets at the event, and all attendees are directed to pre-purchase tickets to secure their access. 

How do I receive my tickets?

Following the completion of your payment, every attendee will be sent a digital Delegate Pass via the email provided during ticket purchase. Closer to the event, you will be activate your conference platform profile and complete the registration process.


All in-person Delegate Passes must be physically collected to gain entry to the venue – nothing will be sent in the post. Your physical Delegate Pass will be available for collection at the venue from Friday 22 November 2024. NOS recommends Delegate Pass collection on Friday 22 November, where possible, or early on Saturday 23 November (for two-day passed) to avoid queues at the collection desk.

What’s included in my ticket?

A Full Delegate Pass includes access to all sessions, refreshment breaks, networking functions, and access to the conference platform software/app to view approved speaker presentations and on demand content. Please note: Sharing of speaker presentation’s is subject to approval from the guest speaker.

Can my ticket be transferred?

A Delegate Pass is entry for one person only, passes cannot be shared. A substitute delegate is welcome at any time prior to the event, provided the request is made in writing to info@nationalofficiatingsummit.com.au

Who should I contact if I want a refund?

Please email all of your booking details to info@nationalofficiatingsummit.com.au to request a refund, along with the reason for requesting the refund. Your request will be assessed by the NOS team in line with our Terms and Conditions.

What happens if the event is cancelled or I am unwell and I am travelling to Melbourne for the event? Will you reimburse my travel fees?

We are not able to reimburse travel or accommodation fees. Airlines and hotel groups are making concessions with their policies for deferring or changing travel plans, and we hope you can take advantage of these.

I got a ticket online, but the ticket and/or confirmation receipt didn’t come through to my email.

Firstly, please check your junk email box as the email may have been sent there. If it is not there please email info@nationalofficiatingsummit.com.au and we can send you through another copy.

I need general help/information regarding my ticket where do I go?

Is there a group booking discount?

Yes, groups of 5+ and 10+ delegates are entitled to a special discount rate. Please refer to the ticketing page for full pricing information. If you have any questions about how group bookings work, or wish to discuss a larger group booking of more than 10 delegates please contact us via info@nationalofficiatingsummit.com.au
